Wash Gently:

Use sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners to avoid stripping moisture. Gently detangle extensions before washing to prevent tangling and breakage. Wash in lukewarm water and avoid excessive rubbing or scrubbing.

Condition Regularly:

Apply a moisturising conditioner or a deep conditioning treatment to keep extensions soft and manageable. Avoid applying conditioner to the roots or bonds to prevent slipping or damage.

Dry Carefully:

Pat extensions dry with a towel instead of rubbing to prevent frizz and breakage. Allow extensions to air dry whenever possible. If using a blow dryer, use a low heat setting and a heat protectant.

Avoid Heat Damage:

Limit the use of heat styling tools, such as curling irons and straighteners. Always apply a heat protectant spray before using any styling tools.

Brush with Care:

Use a wide-tooth comb or a brush designed for extensions to gently detangle.  Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid pulling and breakage.

Avoid Excessive Product Use:

Minimise the use of heavy styling products, which can weigh down extensions and lead to build-up. Use lightweight products designed for extensions to maintain their natural look and feel.
